    Side shooter work lights throw outward as well as forward, so the ground beside the vehicle gets lit at the same time as the ground in front. Three models, all sold as a pair with the wiring harness included.

    • XEN-W1 SPOT — tighter forward beam with the side output. For open dirt where you still want the verges lit.
    • XEN-W1 FLOOD — wide spread. Better on tight tracks, low speed, camp and recovery work.
    • ION-W1 SS — side shooter optics, sold as a pair with harness.

    Spot or flood is the only real decision here. Spot puts more of the output further ahead; flood puts more of it close and wide. If you're picking one pair to do everything on a 4WD that spends its life on tracks rather than open road, flood is usually the safer buy.
